AWS Engineer

IsI Enterprises is seeking a highly motivated AWS Infrastructure Security Engineer who will work closely with our Security Control Engineering team in evaluating the security of our enterprise web application, assist in the implementation of proper security policies and controls within our AWS infrastructure, assist in the remediation of vulnerabilities, and prepare the application for FedRAMP evaluation and certification.Job Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments of our AWS infrastructure to determine compliance with FedRAMP and SOC2 requirementsAssist in implementing security policies and controls in our AWS infrastructureIdentify security gaps and vulnerabilities within our infrastructure and develop remediation plans to address themAssist with the remediation of security audit findings from our 3rd party vendorsCollaborate with our engineering team to implement security controls and measures necessary to achieve complianceProvide technical expertise and guidance on FedRAMP requirements, policies, and proceduresProvide assistance in gathering evidence that necessary for preparing the FedRAMP documentationWork with our engineering team to implement FIPS security controlsQualifications: This position requires applicants to have current, interim eligibility or previous security clearance.Candidates must have held or currently hold a clearance or have documented eligibility based on a favorable background investigation.Interim clearances will be accepted for consideration.All clearances are encouraged to apply.U.S. citizenship is required by federal regulation.Applicants without any of the above will not be considered at this time due to contract requirements.3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS services and architecture, including AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM), Amazon EC2, RDS, ECS, S3, etc.Experience with Terraform or similar “infrastructure-as-code" toolIn-depth knowledge of FedRAMP requirements, controls, and processesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address complex security issues.Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field, or equivalent work or military experienceAWS Certified Security specialist is a plusAWS Machine Learning or SageMaker AI experience is a plusStrong understanding of security frameworks such as NIST What we offer: The salary range for this job is $160,000 - $182,000 Remote work possibleA competitive salary and benefits package A casual, friendly, and relaxed work environment Professional growth encouragement and support Industrial Security Integrators, LLC (“IsI”) is an equal opportunity employer committed to affirmative action and diversity in the workplace.
