URGENT Requirement Job Title: AWS Core Data on Cloud Platform Engineer Work Location: REMOTE Contract Duration: 11 Months Employment Type: Contract Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced AWS Core Data on Cloud Platform Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in building and managing scalable, secure, and high-performing data platforms on AWS Cloud. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud-native data solutions that enable seamless ingestion, storage, processing, and consumption of enterprise data. Key Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain data platforms on AWS using core AWS services. Develop scalable data ingestion, storage, and processing pipelines. Manage data lakes, data warehouses, and cloud-native databases (Redshift, Aurora, RDS, DynamoDB, etc.). Ensure data availability, performance, scalability, and security across the platform. Implement best practices for cloud data architecture, automation, and monitoring. Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver cloud-based data solutions. Troubleshoot platform issues, optimize costs, and enhance performance. Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and regulatory requirements. Required Skills & Experience: 5 8 years of experience in cloud engineering and data platforms, with a focus on AWS. Strong hands-on expertise in AWS core services: S3, Redshift, RDS, Glue, EMR, Lambda, EC2, IAM, CloudFormation/Terraform. Experience with data pipelines, ETL/ELT, and real-time/batch processing. Proficiency in SQL, Python, or Scala for data engineering. Good understanding of data lake and data warehouse architectures. Knowledge of DevOps/CI-CD tools (CodePipeline, Jenkins, Git, etc.). Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, CloudTrail). Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance tuning skills.
