Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated AWS Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS services and cloud architecture, with a proven track record of implementing and managing cloud-based solutions.
Responsibilities:
ā¢ Design, implement, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure
ā¢ Develop and optimize cloud-native applications using AWS services
ā¢ Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards
ā¢ Automate infrastructure deployment and management using tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK
ā¢ Monitor and optimize cloud resource utilization and costs
ā¢ Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in cloud environments
ā¢ Collaborate with development teams to implement CI/CD pipelines
ā¢ Stay current with the latest AWS services and best practices
ā¢ Mentor team members and contribute to knowledge sharing
Requirements:
ā¢ 7-10 years of experience required
ā¢ 3-5 years of experience working with AWS services
ā¢ Strong understanding of AWS core services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, etc.)
ā¢ Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform)
ā¢ Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Go)
ā¢ Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
ā¢ Knowledge of networking concepts and security best practices
ā¢ Experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies
ā¢ Experience with prompt engineering and applied AI (including agentic AI) to automate workflows and improve engineering efficiency in cloud environments.
ā¢ Understanding of monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., CloudWatch, Dynatrace)
ā¢ Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
ā¢ AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Associate) preferred
Preferred Skills:
ā¢ Knowledge of server and database technologies
ā¢ Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools
ā¢ Experience with serverless services and architecture
ā¢ Understanding of high availability and disaster recovery concepts
ā¢ Experience with performance tuning and optimization in cloud environments
