Job Title: AWS Architect Job Location: Remote(UK Hours) Job Duration: 3+ Months Interview: Virtual Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced AWS Architect with hands‑on expertise in Magento Open Source to lead the migration of our e-commerce platform from Adobe Commerce Cloud to a fully managed AWS environment. This role requires deep knowledge of AWS architecture patterns, Dockerized deployments, and Magento performance optimization in cloud‑native setups. Key Responsibilities: • Architect and oversee the migration of Magento Open Source to AWS, ensuring performance, scalability, and security. • Design and implement containerized infrastructure using Docker on AWS (ECS/EKS, EC2, Fargate, etc.). • Define best practices for deployment, high availability, CI/CD, and backup/recovery strategies. • Collaborate with stakeholders across the UK, US (EST), and India time zones to ensure smooth execution and handoffs. Must-Have Skills: • Proven experience hosting Magento Open Source on AWS. • Strong command of Docker and container orchestration in AWS environments. • Deep understanding of AWS core services: EC2, S3, RDS, CloudFront, IAM, and VPC networking. • Experience designing high‑availability, cost‑effective cloud solutions for e‑commerce applications. Preferred Qualifications: • AWS Certification (e.g., Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional). • Familiarity with performance tuning and caching for Magento (Redis, Varnish, CloudFront). • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, ELK, Datadog, etc.).
