Avionics Technician IV (Straight Flight)

Are you a highly-skilled avionics professional ready to take your aviation career to next level? Join our team! As an Avionics Technician IV, you will be using your skills and expertise to perform avionics maintenance according to FCC, FAA and company policies and regulations. You'll be responsible for moderately complex installation, testing, troubleshooting and repair of avionics components, and maintenance of test equipment, tools, and manuals. Qualifications You Must Have: High school diploma or GED equivalent and typically 10 or more years of relevant experience A higher-level degree may substitute for experience Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education Ability to understand and interpret moderately complex, technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and/or publications; ability to route wires per technical drawings Advanced skills with moderately complex avionics installation tooling, wiring, wiring repair, wiring installation, soldering' and crimping techniques Qualifications We Prefer: Familiarity with FCC and FCC GROL Ability to mentor and guide subordinates Basic understanding of spectrometer, Oscilloscope and/or Pitot static equipment Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance may be required This posting will be open for application for a minimum of 5 days and may be extended based on business needs.
