Automation Tester, IRS MBI Clearance
Job Description: • Understand project requirements and turn them into clear test plans and test cases. • Set up test environments and run both manual and automated tests. • Log and track defects, and work with the team to get them fixed. • Perform regression and acceptance testing to ensure everything works as expected. • Support backend testing, including APIs and databases (SQL is a plus). • Work with automation tools like Selenium or Cypress. • Take part in the full software development lifecycle and CI/CD process. • Help improve testing processes and contribute to better software quality. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field preferred (more experience required if no degree). • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with both technical and non-technical people. • Good time management and teamwork skills. • Experience writing and executing test scripts. • Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks. • Familiarity with backend testing, CI/CD, and the overall software development lifecycle. • Experience with Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
