Automation & Systems Specialist

Position Overview We are seeking a highly organized and technically skilled Automation & Systems Specialist to design, build, maintain, and optimize automations across our internal systems. This role will be responsible for connecting platforms, streamlining workflows, reducing manual work, and ensuring data flows accurately between systems. This is a hands-on role for someone who understands both business operations and technical automation, and who can work independently to improve efficiency across teams. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain automations using ClickUp, Make.com, and HubSpot Create and manage API connections between internal systems and third-party platforms Automate workflows related to operations, HR, finance, marketing, and clinical support teams Maintain and optimize existing automations for performance, reliability, and scalability Troubleshoot automation failures, API errors, and data sync issues Document automations, workflows, and system logic clearly for internal use Work cross-functionally with leadership and department heads to identify automation opportunities Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across connected systems Manage version control and change tracking for automations Recommend tools, improvements, and best practices for automation strategy Required Experience & Skills Proven experience building automations in ClickUp Strong hands-on experience with Make.com Experience creating and managing workflows in HubSpot Solid understanding of API connections, including: REST APIs Webhooks Authentication (API keys, OAuth, etc.) Ability to read and work with JSON Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses.
