As an Automated Warehouse Material Handler on our 2nd shift team in LaVergne, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate fulfillment of customer orders. Job Overview The Automated Warehouse Material Handler is a critical role in our warehouse team, responsible for retrieving and stacking specific products and quantities as specified on pick tickets/computer screens. You'll work in a fast-paced, automated environment, using computers, software, and complex machines to fulfill customer orders safely, accurately, and efficiently. As a key member of our team, you'll be expected to collaborate with others, adapt to changing needs, and maintain a high level of productivity and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities Order Fulfillment: Retrieve and stack specific products and quantities as specified on pick tickets/computer screens, while traveling throughout the warehouse pick area. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to coordinate and organize efficient and dependable warehouse processes. Adaptability: Adapt to changing needs and priorities, and maintain knowledge of working in different work areas throughout the workday. Housekeeping and Maintenance: Assist in daily housekeeping and maintenance of the warehouse, including keeping the work area free of trash and debris. Safety and Efficiency: Work safely, accurately, and efficiently to control warehouse inventory and minimize shrink. Miscellaneous Activities: Perform miscellaneous activities as directed to support the efficient operation of the warehouse. Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: Knowledge and Experience: 1-3 years of work experience in a warehouse or related environment. Physical Abilities: Ability to lift up to 75 lbs., and repetitively lift 30 lbs. Computer Literacy: Ability to read and interpret instructions from a computer screen. Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and ability to differentiate packages. Preferred Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or GED.
