Full-Stack Developer / Automation Engineer for Email-to-Database Integration & UI Overhaul
Project Overview
We have a 10-year-old MySQL database with a very basic UI.

Initial project request:
ā¢ Team members pull pricing info from two specific email inboxes.
ā¢ Product photos arrive either as email attachments or as URLs in those emails.
ā¢ Someone must manually enter prices and upload photos to the database.
This is slow and error-prone. We need someone to use AI or something like N8N or make.com to go into those emails and put the pricing data direct into the database. I am also curious to know if you think its best to stay with our existing UI/database or move to a newer system.... Our system was created over 10 years ago.
If you are helpful at this, there will be many other projects that I will have for you.
Key Goals
1. Email & Data Automation
ā¢ Connect securely to specified email addresses.
ā¢ Detect and extract quoted prices and photo URLs/attachments automatically.
ā¢ Insert parsed data into the correct MySQL tables without human intervention.
2. AI-Powered Parsing
ā¢ Use AI/NLP to identify and map pricing details to the right database fields.
3. UI/UX Updates
ā¢ Refresh the current web UI with a modern look. (optional)
ā¢ Enable drag-and-drop image uploads (screenshots or files) instead of manual file selection. (optional)
ā¢ Minor design and usability improvements for faster internal use.
Deliverables
ā¢ Automated pipeline to fetch & parse emails (pricing; images/URLs).
ā¢ Integration that writes structured data directly into MySQL.
Once we get this project done, which I'm told should only take a few days, there will be many more projects for us to work on
