We are hiring in Charlotte, NC, this position will be remote and support our offices in Florida!
Responsibilities
ā¢ Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through completion
ā¢ Supervise, mentor, and review work of audit staff and seniors
ā¢ Serve as primary client contact and manage audit relationships
ā¢ Review workpapers and financial statements for accuracy and compliance
ā¢ Identify and resolve accounting and audit issues; ensure regulatory compliance
ā¢ Contribute to audit process improvements and business development efforts
Qualifications
ā¢ Bachelorās or Masterās degree in Accounting
ā¢ Active CPA required
ā¢ 5+ years of public accounting audit experience
ā¢ Prior supervisory or management experience
ā¢ Strong knowledge of GAAP and GAAS
ā¢ Proficiency with audit software and Microsoft Office (CaseWare, CCH a plus)
ā¢ Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills
ā¢ Authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred Experience & Skills
ā¢ Expertise auditing nonprofit, privately held, and publicly traded entities, including 401(k) plans
ā¢ Experience with M&A, divestitures, startup funding, single audits, and FDOT audits
ā¢ Strong understanding of internal controls and SOX compliance, including integrated audits for public companies
ā¢ Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, IAS/IFRS, and U.S. and international auditing standards (GAAS/ISA)
ā¢ Demonstrated leadership within assurance teams, with a focus on continuous learning and relationship management
ā¢ Ability to leverage technology and data analytics to improve audit quality and efficiency
This position operates as part of a US East Coast-based team, with typical working hours aligning with EST to facilitate effective collaboration. We offer flexibility in managing your schedule to maintain a healthy work-life balance while meeting business needs.
We are excited to invite talented individuals to join our dynamic team! This position offers a competitive salary range of $106,000-$150,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
