Whitman Advisory is hiring for a growing client firm offering hybrid or fully remote flexibility for a:
Nursing Home Audit Director / Nursing Home Audit Partner
This is a leadership seat in a strong, established Nursing Home / Long-Term Care audit practice—ideal for someone who enjoys being client-facing, building a book, and leading high-quality work.
What you’ll do
• Own client relationships for nursing home / long-term care provider engagements (trusted advisor role)
• Lead and review audits from planning through issuance (risk assessment, technical review, quality control)
• Drive business development: cultivate referral sources, expand existing relationships, and grow the practice
• Guide engagement teams: budgeting, scheduling, coaching, and performance development
• Provide industry-focused insight on operational + financial trends impacting LTC providers (reimbursement pressures, regulatory environment, internal controls, etc.)
• Partner with firm leadership on practice strategy and client service standards
What they’re looking for
• CPA required
• Significant public accounting audit experience with leadership responsibility (Director/Partner-level scope)
• Strong client management skills and confidence presenting to owners/executive teams
• Proven ability (or clear interest) in practice growth / business development
• Nursing home / long-term care / healthcare provider experience is strongly preferred (or comparable healthcare audit exposure)
