Audiologist Needed in South Carolina for Teletherapy Position

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School-Based Audiologist to join our educational team in the state of South Carolina. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' lives by addressing hearing and communication needs that support their academic success! Key Responsibilities: β€’ Conduct hearing screenings, evaluations, and diagnostic assessments for students. β€’ Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to develop and implement individualized strategies for students with hearing impairments. β€’ Recommend and assist with the selection, fitting, and use of hearing aids and other auditory devices. β€’ Provide training and support to school staff on effective communication strategies for students with hearing loss. β€’ Monitor and maintain auditory equipment to ensure proper functioning. β€’ Contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings by offering expert advice on hearing-related accommodations and goals. Qualifications: β€’ Doctorate or Master’s degree in Audiology from an accredited institution. β€’ Current Audiology license in the state of South Carolina (or eligibility to obtain one). β€’ Previous experience working with children in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred. β€’ Strong communication and collaboration skills. β€’ Knowledge of assistive listening devices and auditory processing strategies.
