A K-12 school in Hayward, CA is seeking a skilled Audiologist to provide expert auditory health services for students during the current school year (CSY) on a contract basis. This role is vital to supporting students’ communication and learning needs by conducting thorough hearing assessments, developing individualized plans, and collaborating with educators and families. Key Responsibilities: • Perform comprehensive hearing evaluations and screenings for K-12 students • Identify and diagnose auditory disorders and recommend appropriate interventions • Develop and implement individualized audiological management plans • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to support student success • Maintain detailed records and documentation in compliance with school policies • Provide counseling to students and families regarding hearing health and assistive devices • Stay current on audiology best practices and technologies relevant to school settings Qualifications: • Valid state licensure as an Audiologist • Experience working in educational environments, preferably with K-12 students • Strong knowledge of pediatric audiology and hearing loss interventions • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism • Proficient in audiometric testing and equipment maintenance Location: Hayward, California Position Type: Contract, Current School Year (CSY) This opportunity allows you to make a meaningful impact on students’ educational experiences by addressing their auditory needs within a dynamic school environment.
