Audiologist Educational Audiologist | Cibolo, Texas

A school-based audiology position is available to provide specialized services within a Texas school district. This contract role primarily supports Mission Academy, with additional responsibilities covering districtwide students in coordination with itinerant teachers. The role is part-time with approximately 15-20 hours per week, ideally scheduled on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and spans until late May 2026.

Location: San Antonio, TX Area (on-site)

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct audiological evaluations and screenings for students across various age groups.
• Fit and repair hearing aids as authorized by state licensure.
• Collaborate with educational staff and itinerant teachers to troubleshoot and support students’ hearing health on an itinerant basis.
• Maintain compliance with state regulations and professional standards.
• Complete all required documentation and reporting related to student care.
• Attend prescreen interviews as part of the credentialing process.

Qualifications:
• Master's degree in Audiology required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience working in school settings or equivalent.
• ASHA certification mandatory; waiver accepted if ASHA certification is held.
• State licensure to practice audiology and to fit and repair hearing aids.
• Successful passage of relevant licensing exams.
• Must complete fingerprinting and background check in compliance with credentialing requirements.
