Architosh is looking for a talented and creative Audio and Podcast Editor to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for producing high-quality audio content for our podcasts and audio features, enhancing the listening experience for our audience in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industries. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in audio editing, a keen ear for detail, and a passion for storytelling through sound.
Key Responsibilities
• Audio Editing: Edit and enhance podcast episodes, ensuring clarity, flow, and overall sound quality. This includes removing background noise, adjusting levels, and adding music or sound effects as needed.
• Content Production: Collaborate with hosts and producers to develop engaging audio content that aligns with Architosh's mission and audience interests.
• Script Review: Assist in reviewing and refining scripts for podcast episodes, ensuring they are engaging and informative.
• Sound Design: Create and implement sound design elements that enhance the storytelling aspect of our podcasts, including intros, outros, and transitions.
• Quality Control: Conduct quality checks on all audio content before publication, ensuring it meets Architosh's standards for excellence.
• Publishing: Manage the publishing process for podcast episodes, including uploading to hosting platforms and ensuring proper metadata is included.
• Audience Engagement: Monitor listener feedback and engagement metrics to continuously improve content and production quality.

Qualifications
• Experience in Audio Production, Media Arts, Communications, or a related field preferred.
• Experience: Proven experience in audio editing and production, preferably in a podcasting or broadcasting environment.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in audio editing software (e.g., Adobe Audition, Audacity, Pro Tools).
• Strong understanding of sound design principles and techniques.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with podcast hosting platforms and distribution channels is a plus.
