About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Attorney licensed with the Florida Bar, specializing in Contract Law and Judgment Debt Collection. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drafting, reviewing, and enforcing contracts, as well as pursuing post-judgment remedies and collections within the state of Florida.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, ensuring legal compliance and risk mitigation
- Provide legal guidance on contract disputes and enforcement strategies
- Manage and execute judgment debt collection processes, including garnishments, liens, levies, and asset discovery
- Represent clients in court proceedings related to contract disputes and debt recovery
- Conduct legal research and stay updated on Florida laws and regulations related to contracts and collections
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely case resolution
- Maintain accurate documentation and case records
Qualifications:
- Active membership in good standing with the Florida Bar (required)
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in contract law and/or debt collection litigation
- Proven experience with post-judgment collection procedures in Florida
- Strong understanding of civil litigation and court procedures
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- High level of professionalism and ethical standards
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with commercial and healthcare-related contracts
- Familiarity with collection software and legal case management systems
- Strong negotiation and settlement skills
