Attorney/Content Specialist Location: Flexible / Remote Employment Type: Full-Time (or Contract, depending on candidate) Experience Level: Mid to Senior-Level Attorney Availability: Arizona Business Hours and as needed About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated attorney with strong regulatory and analytical skills to support the development and updates of comprehensive 50-state surveys focused on pharmacy benefit management (PBM) and pharmacy-related laws and regulations. This role requires a deep understanding of how regulatory requirements vary across multiple lines of business, including but not limited to commercial fully insured plans, Medicare Part D, Medicaid, and self-funded ERISA, church, and government plans. Key Responsibilities • Monitor and summarize legislative and regulatory developments across all 50 states • Conduct and update detailed 50-state legal and regulatory surveys related to PBM and pharmacy operations, licensing, and compliance, including federal and state statutes, regulations, and agency guidance, translating complex legal requirements into clear guidance • Distinguish applicability of requirements across different lines of business (e.g., commercial vs. Medicare vs. Medicaid vs. self-funded ERISA, etc.) • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support compliance tools and thought leadership initiatives • Assist in developing and maintaining standardized survey templates and regulatory tracking frameworks Qualifications • J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership (any U.S. jurisdiction) • 3+ years of relevant experience, preferably in: • Healthcare regulatory law • PBM, pharmacy, or managed care compliance • Insurance or healthcare coverage regulation • Exceptional legal research and analytical skills • Demonstrated experience conducting multi-state legal research and surveys • Ability to manage large datasets of legal requirements with precision and organization • Ability to balance legal accuracy with practical business application What We Offer • Opportunity to work at the forefront of PBM and pharmacy regulatory compliance • High-impact work shaping national regulatory intelligence and client guidance • Collaborative, fast-paced, and entrepreneurial environment • Competitive compensation (salary or contract-based, depending on structure) About Us PBMSource is a leading provider of regulatory SaaS software for the PBM industry and related organizations.
