Attorney (Insurance Coverage and Coverage Litigation)

Clyde & Co is a global law firm seeking attorneys to join their growing insurance coverage practice in California. The role involves analyzing insurance policies, conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and managing client communications in complex insurance coverage litigation matters. Responsibilities Analyze rights and obligations under insurance policies, draft coverage opinions, and provide coverage advice to clients Conduct legal research, analyze findings, and draft memoranda Prepare and analyze pleadings, discovery, motions, supporting briefs, and legal correspondence regarding insurance coverage litigation Meet and confer with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties Attend depositions, hearings, and mediations Take a proactive role in managing matters, deadlines, and communication with clients Skills Admitted to practice in California Will consider other bar admissions for seasoned candidates with extensive coverage experience Has experience in insurance coverage and/or coverage litigation or a commercial litigation background with an interest in insurance coverage work Has excellent legal research, writing, and oral communication skills Has strong organizational and time-management skills Has the ability to simultaneously handle sensitive and time-sensitive matters Has effective problem-solving skills Has the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects Benefits Hybrid Work Flexibility – Enjoy a perfect balance between remote and in-office work.
