Associate Technical Writer
Description:
• Deliver well-written end-user and internal documentation for ComplianceAlpha
• Work with subject matter experts to understand ComplianceAlpha; develop and maintain client-facing user documents, training materials, internal guides
• Report to the lead technical writer
• This role begins remote with potential hybrid; location options include Raleigh/Durham or Pittsburgh areas
• Collaborate with product teams to understand tools and products; assist in development and maintenance of client-facing user documents
• Provide ad hoc support in drafting content for marketing and training purposes, for the ACA website, and to satisfy internal requests
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in technical writing, English, journalism, or other writing-centric program
• 1-2 years related writing experience with a focus on technology
• SaaS product experience
• Familiarity with software/platforms such as MadCap Flare, Zendesk Guide, or Userpilot
• Flexible and able to juggle multiple documentation requests at once
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to understand technical subject matter and produce written content that can be understood by both technical and non-technical audiences
• Dependable, disciplined, and self-motivated enough to work remotely without on-site supervision
• Well-organized and able to work as part of a fast-paced team to meet demanding timelines
