Associate Tax Accountant
About the position
As an Associate Tax Accountant, you will have the opportunity to be involved in and exposed to a comprehensive range and variety of complex tax compliance and tax planning projects. This is an entry-level position that offers a hybrid schedule at our corporate office in Carthage, MO. Your work will ensure people across the world have a little more comfort in their lives.
Responsibilities
• Support U.S., federal, state, and international tax compliance
• Conduct research and analysis of US and foreign tax laws
• Assist with global tax audits
• Assist with accounting for income taxes and SEC reporting
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting (or in Business with an emphasis in accounting) from an accredited college or university
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly
Nice-to-haves
• CPA certification or candidacy
• One or two years of post-graduate tax or accounting experience
• 3.5 GPA or above
