Associate Systems Developer

As an Associate Systems Developer, you will develop system-based solutions, maintain code, and document processes while collaborating with your team to enhance efficiency and innovation. Responsibilities Supporting the team in various responsibilities including estimating assigned tasks, completing status reports, and creating and maintaining technical documentation Participating in the design and execution of program coding to implement features of small to medium complexity Contributing to an implementation and back-out plan for a single system Assisting with unit testing for developed code, verifying functionalities and supporting system and user acceptance testing Learning relevant Information Technology (IT) standards, methodologies, processes and tools and contributing to project reviews Skills 1-3 years of experience in Information Technology or a related field Completed post-secondary education in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline Proficiency in English is essential to the main duties in this role, including servicing and communicating primarily with majority non-francophone clients, groups, teams Drafting complex English documents and preparing daily reports for anglophone leaders Exposure to one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#) A working understanding of core software development concepts, such as version control, APIs, databases, Git, and Agile SDLC practices Any exposure to Guidewire is considered an asset but not required Benefits Training and development opportunities to grow your career.
