The Foundation Strategy Office is the primary function supporting the creation and evolution of our program level strategies as well as exploring new paths to impact that align with our mission. This includes supporting the CEO, CFO, and Chief Strategy Officer in key accountabilities like strategy development, strategy revision, strategy performance measurement, portfolio management, and special initiatives to accelerate the impact of the foundation. Responsibilities
• Employ strategic resources to develop and assess options, ensure sound reasoning, and challenge assumptions.
• Liaise closely with internal clients to co-develop and test strategy concepts and facilitate organizational change.
• Support the implementation of creative solutions to guide strategic decisions, team operations, and ways of working.
• Contribute to the identification and implementation of research and analytical methodologies to support decision-making.
• Support (Sr.) Strategy Officers with the day-to-day ownership of the strategic process and mobilization of discrete bodies of work.
• Regularly contribute to team development “extra 10s”, such as team vision and goal refinement, professional development, training, recruiting, onboarding, team social events, retreats, foundation-wide activities, etc.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in strategic planning and consulting
• Experience at a top-tier management consulting firm
• Deep knowledge of and strengths in strategy development and end-to-end sophisticated project management
• Optimally work with sensitivity across barriers such as language, culture, and distance
• Software skills with Microsoft Office applications, including a proven track record to convey information using supporting tables, graphs, and other visual representations
• Knowledge and proficiency in Excel, Stata, or similar
• Ability to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally
• Must have unrestricted work authorization in the country where this position is located.
