Associate – Specialty (Insurance Coverage)

Clyde & Co is seeking a highly motivated attorney with 1-3 years of experience in complex insurance coverage litigation. The role involves analyzing insurance policies, conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and attending depositions and hearings. Responsibilities Analyze insurance policies, drafting coverage opinions and providing coverage advice and recommendations Conduct complex and rigorous legal research and analysis, and draft memoranda Draft and review pleadings, memos, briefs, discovery, motions with supporting briefs and other legal correspondence Prepare formal correspondence to opposing counsel and other parties Attend depositions, hearings, and mediations as required Skills 1-3 years of experience in complex insurance coverage litigation matters Excellent academic credentials Admitted to practice in California Excellent legal research, writing and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to handle matters of a highly sensitive nature Ability to handle time sensitive matters, sometimes several simultaneously Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly Admitted to other states (particularly TX, NY, WA, or CO) is an asset Experience in commercial general liability is preferred Federal court experience Benefits Hybrid Work Flexibility – Enjoy a perfect balance between remote and in-office work.
