Associate - Software Engineer - AI & Cloud Platforms

They are seeking an Associate Software Engineer to help design and deliver modern, cloud-native insurance platforms, focusing on automation and AI capabilities while collaborating with various teams to build scalable solutions.ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, test, and deploy cloud-native applications and services on AWS under the guidance of senior engineers and architectsContribute to AI and automation initiatives that enhance developer productivity and platform capabilitiesSupport the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps automationBuild and consume APIs and reusable servicesWrite clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following engineering best practicesEnsure solutions meet security, performance, resilience, and compliance standardsParticipate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teamsContribute to documentation, technical discussions, and continuous improvement initiativesSkillsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field1–3 years of software engineering experience building and supporting production systemsHands-on experience with AWS and cloud-native application developmentFamiliarity with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform)Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practicesProficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, TypeScript)Experience building generative or agentic AI applicationsFamiliarity with APIs, containerization concepts (EKS, ECR), and modern development tools (e.g., GitHub, Jira)Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team environmentStrong written and verbal communication skillsExposure to AI/ML through academic, project, or professional experienceExperience with full-stack development of AI-powered tools using modern technologies (e.g., React, Node.js, LangChain, LangGraph)Experience contributing to automation or developer productivity initiativesExperience in financial services, insurance, or wealth managementRelevant certifications or coursework in cloud, DevOps, or AIBenefitsLeave programsAdoption assistanceStudent loan repayment programsCompany OverviewFor over 180 years, we’ve helped turn your biggest dreams into milestones that last a lifetime.
