Associate Software Engineer

The role involves coding, testing, documenting, and delivering high-quality software components while collaborating with engineers and business analysts to ensure requirements are met. Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and enhance software through high‑quality coding, testing, and documentation Deliver all assigned software and non‑software components within established timelines Provide timely, accurate project status updates to the Project Manager or Line Manager Escalate risks, issues, or blockers promptly to ensure smooth project execution Review all work products to ensure compliance with internal development standards Collaborate with engineers, Business Analysts, and internal customers to clarify and validate requirements Create, prepare, and execute comprehensive unit test plans Produce efficient, maintainable, and fully documented code Develop supporting technical and installation documentation for internal and external use Meet agreed‑upon productivity and quality targets to deliver work on time, within budget, and aligned with functional specifications and traceability requirements Skills BS/BA in Engineering, Mathematics, Science, or 4-year technical degree in related field Detail oriented and able to follow instructions Basic oral and written communication skills Basic use of MS Office software Basic use of MS Excel Able to read and understand C# as a development language Basic understanding of SQL and Queries Awareness of 21 CFR Part 820, or ISO13485 a plus Unquestionable Integrity Company Overview AMETEK is a manufacturer of electronic instruments and electromechanical devices.
