Associate Project Engineer (Hybrid - Acton, MA)

The Associate Project Engineer supports the Global Product Monitoring Complaint Investigations Lab by coordinating project activities, contributing to continuous improvement projects, and developing tools to enhance lab workflows and data analysis. Responsibilities Assist in coordinating project efforts with failure analysis engineers and other lab team members Support CI and strategic projects that improve lab workflows, efficiency, and compliance Help develop and implement software tools, dashboards, and process enhancements Participate in pilot testing and feedback collection for new tools or process changes Contribute to AI-based tool development and integration to support data analysis and automation Collaborate with cross-functional teams including CI, Quality, and Engineering Document project activities, outcomes, and lessons learned to support continuous improvement Track project timelines, deliverables, and performance metrics under guidance Ensure adherence to applicable regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA QSR, ISO 13485) Promote a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement Perform other duties as assigned Skills Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, life sciences, or a related technical field Strong interest in quality systems, lab operations, or product investigations Experience in a technical or regulated environment is a plus Familiarity with basic project coordination or process improvement concepts Exposure to data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI) or programming languages (e.g., Python) is a plus Interest or experience in AI/ML applications is desirable but not required Effective communication and collaboration skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and learn in a dynamic environment Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off (PTO) And additional employee wellness programs Company Overview Insulet Corporation (NASDAQ: PODD), headquartered in Massachusetts, is an innovative medical device company dedicated to simplifying life for people with diabetes and other conditions through its Omnipod product platform.
