Associate Product Security Engineer

Infoblox is a leading provider of cloud-first networking and security solutions, and they are seeking an Associate Product Security Engineer to join their Product Security Engineering team. The role focuses on AI security and automation, requiring collaboration with senior engineers to integrate and secure AI-driven initiatives while participating in security reviews and optimization efforts. Responsibilities Collaborate with senior engineers on AI-driven security initiatives, helping to integrate and secure large language models (LLMs) and AI services used across Infoblox products Participate in the design and validation of AI-assisted security automation—including vulnerability triage, secure code analysis, and threat detection workflows Contribute to threat modeling and risk assessments for products that leverage AI, APIs, or cloud-native architectures Develop and maintain security guardrails for AI usage, including prompt-injection defense, model access controls, and data-handling best practices Support the AI Security Enablement program by creating documentation, demos, and training materials to help engineers securely adopt AI tools Assist in integrating and tuning AI-powered security tools (e.g., code scanning, anomaly detection, or SOAR integrations) Gain hands-on experience across a modern, cloud-native environment—Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, Azure, and CNAPP platforms—while supporting AI-enabled workflows Work with: Kubernetes, Containers, AWS, GCP, Azure, OCI, SAST, DAST, SIEM, EDR, CWPP, Serverless Functions, CSPM, CNAPP, WAF, etc Skills Foundational understanding of AI/ML concepts and a curiosity for how they intersect with cybersecurity Familiarity with security automation using Python or similar scripting languages (experience with APIs or SDKs for AI tools is a plus) Strong grasp of secure software development and common application vulnerabilities—especially as they relate to AI integrations and data exposure A desire to enable teams by simplifying security processes through automation, tooling, and education Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in documenting AI-related risks and communicating complex topics clearly A continuous learning mindset—keeping pace with emerging AI security frameworks, NIST AI RMF, and OWASP Top 10 for LLMs Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security, or a related field U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required Benefits Comprehensive health coverage, generous PTO, and flexible work options Learning opportunities, career-mobility programs, and leadership workshops Sixteen paid volunteer hours each year, global employee resource groups, and a “No Jerks” policy that keeps collaboration healthy Modern offices with EV charging, healthy snacks (and the occasional cupcake), plus hackathons, game nights, and culture celebrations Charitable Giving Program supported by Company Match We practice pay transparency and reward performance.
