Associate Product Owner

We are seeking an Associate Product Owner to join our market-leading, fast-growing, event ticketing technology company.As an Associate Product Owner at Automatiq, you will contribute to creating best-in-class solutions in the secondary ticket market. Working under the guidance of senior product leaders, you will engage closely with software engineers, business stakeholders, and customers to ensure smooth delivery of product features and updates. This role offers hands-on experience in managing product development processes, prioritizing tasks, and learning to set strategic goals aligned with business objectives.The ideal candidate is passionate about solving problems through technology and excels at communicating and collaborating across teams.nResponsibilitiesAssist in managing product roadmaps; ensure timely delivery of key features that meet customer and business needsSupport prioritization and refinement of the development backlog with engineering and stakeholder teamsParticipate in the definition and documentation of product requirements, ensuring clarity and feasibilityConduct testing and validation for new features and bug fixes before releaseSupport go-to-market strategies and product launch activities Create, update and maintain product artifacts including documentation, product guides, knowledge base articles, and promotional contentAct as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and decision-makingEngage with customers and stakeholders to validate ideas and gather and analyze user feedback to improve product features and user experienceCollaborate on sprint planning, retrospectives, and KPI tracking with team leads to ensure efficient development cyclesDevelop foundational knowledge of the ticketing industry technologies and eco-systemMonitor key performance metrics and suggest data-driven improvementsStay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in product managementQualifications1-3 years of experience in a product, engineering, support, or technical delivery position, preferably in the primary or secondary ticketing industryStrong emotional intelligence and communication Proven ability to adapt quickly to new information, processes, and feedback in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrated ability to bridge the gap between market and business requirements and technical delivery Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectivelyPassion for problem-solving, learning, and contributing to innovative solutionsBasic understanding of agile software development principles and practicesAbility to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a remote first environment Preferred Qualifications:Have experience working in the sports and entertainment ticketing industry, a marketplace technology company and/or startup environmentsn$110,000 - $135,000 a yearnAbout us: Automatiq is the leading all-in-one software platform in the live event ticketing world, serving resellers of all sizes.
