THE ROLE:

We're looking for an Associate Product Manager to join our growing product team and support the Property Management Accounting domain — the financial core of our multi-ledger accounting and payments engine.

You'll work alongside our senior product team to support product development for trust accounting, ledgering, rent posting, reconciliations, money movements, and financial reporting. This is a hands-on role where you'll learn the intricacies of accounting workflows while contributing directly to feature development on our platform that supports hundreds of thousands of monthly transactions.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their product career who wants to dive deep into complex workflows, gain exposure to financial systems, and grow quickly with a team that values learning and initiative.

YOUR BACKGROUND:

We're looking for someone with 1-4 years of experience in product management, product operations, business analysis, or a related role. You may be transitioning from another field like finance, accounting, operations, or customer success.

What matters most:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Comfort working with data and technical concepts
• Genuine curiosity about how complex systems work
• Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment

Helpful but not required:
• Exposure to B2B/B2B2C or SaaS products
• Experience with financial, accounting, or operational software
• Familiarity with agile development processes
• Understanding of property management or real estate workflows

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
• Support the accounting product team in gathering requirements and conducting user research
• Write clear, detailed user stories and acceptance criteria under guidance
• Help document product specifications and maintain product documentation
• Participate in user interviews with property managers and accountants
• Assist with backlog grooming, sprint planning, and tracking feature development
• Support QA by helping develop test cases and participating in testing
• Analyze user feedback and help identify opportunities for improvement
• Contribute to the product knowledge base and team documentation

WHAT WILL HELP YOU SUCCEED:
• Eagerness to learn — You're excited to dive into complex workflows and become an expert in accounting systems
• Attention to detail — You understand that in accounting, every dollar matters and accuracy is paramount
• User empathy — You're genuinely interested in understanding user challenges and improving their experience
• Strong communication — You can write clearly, ask good questions, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Analytical thinking — You enjoy mapping workflows, solving problems, and understanding how systems connect
• Proactive mindset — You take initiative, try things, and aren't afraid to ask questions
• Team player — You're comfortable asking for help and working collaboratively in a supportive environment
• Remote work comfort — You thrive working with distributed teams across time zones
