Job Description
We are seeking an Associate Merchant to support the development and execution of Vuori's product assortment. This individual will be responsible for assisting in the execution of the brand product strategy and helping to support new growth opportunities across all categories. We are looking for someone who is passionate about the performance apparel space, Vuori's mission, and will embody the brand's values.
What you'll get to do:
• Provide day-to-day merchandising support.
• Gain an understanding of the business in partnership with the merchandising & planning team.
• Support the merchandising strategy by pulling applicable historical and current data.
• Collect and organize competitive marketplace information.
• Conduct surveys and focus groups to gain a better understanding of the Vuori customer.
• Assist in the development of comprehensive assortment strategies across ecomm, store and wholesale channels.
• Learn the fundamentals of editing a line and develop a point of view.
• Manage line plan, product messaging, and product knowledge tools.
• Manage physical product samples.
• Assist with key meeting preparation, including but not limited to sample management, deck preparation, etc.
• Manage tools and flow of information for wholesale catalog creation process in partnership with merchandising and marketing
• Responsible for PLM system updates
• Act as cross departmental liaison, creating a consistent flow of communication throughout the organization
Qualifications
Who you are:
• Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent years of experience preferred
• 3+ years of merchandising experience
• Performance apparel experience preferred
• Strong eye for trend right product that aligns with the brand aesthetic
• Must be organized, attentive to detail, and able to multi-task
• Strong communication skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Understanding of retail math
• Proficient in Microsoft (Excel) and Adobe Suite (Illustrator)
• Ability to travel domestically when necessary
• Candidates must live or be open to relocating to the San Diego area

The salary range for this role is $74,900 per year - $96,285 per year.
