Associate Mental Health Therapist & Intake Specialist - Teletherapy Focus

Description

In this role, you will be integral in delivering teletherapy services and conducting initial assessments for students within partner school districts. Your contributions will ensure that students receive timely, comprehensive mental health care tailored to their unique needs...

Key Responsibilities
• Provide evidence-based teletherapy to students.
• Collaborate closely with school counselors and other relevant providers.
• Build strong relationships with students and families.
• Offer psychoeducation and support to parents and caregivers.
• Participate in case consultations and clinical team discussions.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of our clinical programs.
• Attend regular supervision sessions.
• Conduct thorough intake interviews to gather detailed client information.
• Assess clients’ immediate needs and determine appropriate care.
• Evaluate clients’ readiness for telehealth services.
• Identify primary needs that may require referrals.
• Assess the severity of diagnoses and clients’ engagement levels.
• Provide immediate support and crisis intervention as needed.
• Document client interactions, assessments, and referrals accurately.
• Collaborate with other departments and agencies for comprehensive care.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.

Requirements
• Licensure: Active, Associate clinical license (LMHCA in Washington)
• Education: Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field
• Experience: Clinical or mental health setting experience working with school-aged children, telehealth, and intake/assessment
• Skills: Strong clinical assessment, excellent communication, proficiency in EHR systems and Zoom, strong organizational skills, and ability to work during peak hours
