Responsibilities:
Participate in the NCCI Procedure to Procedure and Medically Unlike Edit work group meetings to provide clinical input and guidance
Serve as a clinical subject matter expert to assist in responses to inquiries received regarding the NCCI edits and Education material
Perform research and provide input to updates needed in the Coding Policy Manual, Medicare and Medicaid NCCI Manuals
Attend and participate in contractor meetings
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
Conduct research to provide input in the work group meetings
Provide input and support in the contractor meetings
Prepare research documents to support the NCCI edits and educational materials
Provide clinical and coding training to contract staff as needed
