Associate Manager Data Engineering

Job Description: Essential Job Functions: • Assist in managing data engineering projects and tasks, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope. • Work with team members to develop and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure. • Collaborate with other teams to understand and address data requirements. • Contribute to efforts focused on data quality and security. • Learn from experienced team members and apply knowledge in day-to-day tasks. • Participate in the optimization of data processes. • Stay up-to-date with emerging data technologies and industry best practices. • Foster a collaborative and growth-oriented environment within the team. Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience • 6+ years of relevant work experience • Proven experience in data engineering Proficiencies in data engineering tools and technologies • A continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology Other Qualifications: • Advanced degree in a relevant field a plus • Relevant certifications, such as Data Engineering on Google Cloud Platform or IBM Certified Data Engineer a plus Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $87,700 - $162,800. Full-time hires are eligible to participate in the DXC benefit program.
