The Associate will manage a portfolio of loan transactions, ensuring timely and accurate processing while providing excellent customer service and support for closing, funding, and booking new deals.ResponsibilitiesReview legal documents and extract relevant informationSet up and maintain assets for various funds in Wall Street OfficeManage a portfolio of dealsPost customer advances, payments and loan contract continuances and complete all daily work in timely and accurate mannerEnter wires to settle with participants and funding partners while ensuring that all members remain in syncInvoice clients and create system notifications of activityProvide excellent customer service by keeping required parties apprised of loan activityAssist with the closing, funding and booking of new deal transactionsRespond to internal and external inquiries regarding loan balances, interest, fees and expenses and respond to ad-hoc requestsProactively identify loan performance concerns and communicate these to the portfolio management teamPerform daily cash reconciliationAssist the Accounting Department with questions regarding reconciliation of cash and loan position activitySpecial projects upon requestSkills1+ years of experience in banking/financial fieldStrong work ethicWorks well independently as well as in a team environmentGood written and verbal communication skillsAbility to interface with numerous constituents at various levelsSelf-starter with a positive attitude and the ability to work independently and conscientiouslyProficiency with the Microsoft Office productsAbility to multi-task, balancing many responsibilities simultaneouslyFamiliarity with the Wall Street Office loan system and proficiency in processing a plusBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferredBenefitsFull range of medical, financial and / or other benefits401(k) eligibilityVarious paid time off benefits such as vacation, sick time and parental leaveCompany OverviewMonroe Capital LLC (“Monroe”) is a premier asset management firm specializing in private credit markets across various strategies, including direct lending, technology finance, venture debt, alternative credit solutions, structured credit, real estate and equity.
