Associate, Internal Wholesaler - Retail Annuities

They are seeking an Associate, Internal Wholesaler to manage territory, develop relationships with financial advisors, and maintain a deep understanding of annuity products.ResponsibilitiesManage territory with external partner to meet or exceed goalsPartner with field wholesaler to develop and maintain business relationships with financial advisor professionals in the territoryConduct consultative, relationship-building sales calls via the telephone with financial advisors and other licensed professionalsMaintain a deep understanding of all New York Life’s annuity products and competitive landscapeAct as the main point of contact on a daily basis for financial advisor clients in the territoryConsistently follow-up with all leads, prospects and producers to advance the sales process and deepen advisor relationshipsCreate and explain hypothetical illustrations and competitive informationProvide advisors with updates on annuity products, upcoming conference calls and conferencesSkillsUnderstanding of annuities, the financial/capital markets and the competitive landscapeWholesaling Experience PreferredBuild and expand relationships with predetermined opportunistic list financial advisorsFluid relationship and communication with external partner for strategic planningExcellent presentation and organizational skillsState Insurance License(s) for resident state within 60 days of hireFINRA Series 6 or 7 and 63 licenses requiredAbility to work independently in a fast-paced environmentBachelor's Degree Is Required – Specifically Finance/Business Major PreferredBenefitsLeave programsAdoption assistanceStudent loan repayment programsCompany OverviewFor over 180 years, we’ve helped turn your biggest dreams into milestones that last a lifetime.
