Associate II, Fund Administration (Accounting)

The Associate II, Fund Administration role involves partnering with clients and internal teams to deliver fund accounting and reporting services, while also contributing to operational policies and workflows.ResponsibilitiesContribute to decision making regarding team operational policies and proceduresHelp to define fund administration workflows, applying best practices and process efficienciesAssist in training of team members on processes and monitoring client deliverablesInterface directly with clients to deliver an outstanding client experiencePerform accounting, analytical, & financial reporting duties; ensure client and investor reporting is prepared and completed timely and accuratelyPrepare waterfall calculations, capital calls and distributions in accordance with clientsβ Limited Partnership Agreements as applicablePrepare asset- and fund-level performance metrics (IRRs, TVPI, etc.)Assist in preparing, compiling, and verifying external client and regulatory reportingPrepare financial information for stockholders/investor reportsSupport annual audits, including preparation of the initial draft of the annual audit report and related schedulesSkills1+ years of fund accounting experience in fund administration and/or in-house with exposure to Private Equity (open-ended and/or close-ended), Private Debt and/or Real Estate fundsBachelor's degree in Accounting or related field requiredFundamental knowledge of accounting rules and procedures for private investment funds, including experience with fund-level accounting and reportingExposure to waterfall, performance metrics (IRRs), distributions and capital calls calculationsPassion for technology and a desire to use technology to improve business operationsPossess strong analytical skills required in reviewing, researching and resolving issues surrounding accounting and financial mattersExcellent interpersonal and client service skills, verbal and written communicationInvestran experienceBenefitsHealth, dental, and vision care for you and your familyLife insurance and disability coverageMental wellness coverageFertility and growing family supportFlex Time Off in addition to company paid holidaysPaid family leave, medical leave, and bereavement leave policies401k retirement savings planHealthcare FSA and commuter benefits programsAllowance to customize your work and technology setup at homeAnnual professional development stipendCompany OverviewJuniper Square provides software and fund administration services that streamline collaboration and communication between GPs and LPs.
