Associate Financial Analyst

They are seeking two Associate Financial Analysts to support their Financial Analysis Center of Expertise, focusing on financial performance and compliance for satellite projects.ResponsibilitiesInitiates financial analysis of supply base forecasts and/or financial estimates at completion (EACs); employs analytics, utilizes financial systems and provides understanding of financial performance, quantifies cost risk and opportunitiesLeads integration of variance analysis and performance reporting for senior leadership; summarizes and presents findings to aid decision making by Business and Finance leadersProvides subject matter expertise to troubleshoot process and tool issues, identify root causes and recommend solutionsWorks proactively with the business to consider internal and external factors in the environmentDefines and communicates cost trends and project cost performance for program management attention and actionUnderstands priorities, validates and clarifies business assumptions, and focuses on high impact factors that drive performanceEnsures compliance and champions internal controls and proceduresAccomplishes tasks through formal channels and informal networksUnderstands and shapes the cultures of organizations by utilizing cross functional collaborationSkillsCurrently have a Bachelor's degree or higher1+ years of experience in a business-related function (including but not limited to: Finance, Contracts, Accounting, Supplier Management)Experience with the Microsoft Excel application using: formulas, VLookups, pivot tables, charts, filters, and linking worksheetsBachelor's Degree in Accounting or FinanceExperience creating executive level presentations using Word, PowerPoint and ExcelStrong presentation skills and the ability to effectively communicate data in Senior Leadership briefingsExperience working in a challenging, fast-paced, geo-diverse team environmentExperience with forecasting, resource planning, Estimates at Completion (EAC) or cost management systemsExperience utilizing Microsoft Office Products for financial modeling and analysisExperience in leading either formally or informally teams and/or projectsExperience using strong verbal and written communication skills both virtually and in personBenefitsCompetitive base pay and variable compensation opportunitiesHealth insuranceFlexible spending accountsHealth savings accountsRetirement savings plansLife and disability insurance programsPaid and unpaid time away from workCompany OverviewBoeing offers commercial, defense airplanes, space, security systems, and global services.
