Role:
As a ASSOCIATE ENGINEER, reporting directly to the Director, Software Engineering, you will work on iraLogix's cloud-based software platform with opportunities to switch teams and projects to meet the needs of our startup as we grow and evolve. We need our engineers to be flexible, ambitious, self-motivated and display leadership qualities in order to remain innovative in the FinTech space. Are you interested in scaling a platform, working with Infrastructure-as-Code, leveraging DevOps to allow for on-demand, rapid releases? Do you want to work with microservices to support white-label, multi-tenant solutions? We have opportunities in all these areas for talented and driven software engineers.
Responsibilities:
The essential responsibilities and duties for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
? Collaborate on software projects with product and UX to deliver features
? Develop, release, and maintain code for:
? Backend services and/or infrastructure or
? Front end user interfaces
? Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables
? Work within the context of a Scrum team to participate in all ceremonies and team activites
? Demo work to stakeholders at the end of each sprint
? Pair programming with development teammates
Required Skills/Abilities:
? A solid foundation in computer science with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design
? Knowledge of coding best practices
? Knowledge of AWS and cloud computing
? A drive to learn and independently solve problems
Education and Experience:
? A bachelor's degree in Computer Science is preferred but we will consider candidates with equivalent experience or successful completion of strong coding bootcamp
? Experience in:
? Java, databases, shell scripting, Spring Boot, Git, Maven, and Docker or
? CSS and Javascript with UI frameworks such as Angular, React, Bootstrap, Kendo or Materials
? Experience in a SaaS or start-up environment a plus
? Must be US Citizen, Permanent Resident, or eligible to work in the US permanently
