The Associate Director of Training 1 for Mental Hygiene is responsible for overseeing a comprehensive education and training program for facility staff, including those in community-based programs. This role involves supervising training staff, coordinating mandatory training, and ensuring compliance with accreditation requirements. The position is integral to the management team, focusing on improving agency operations through effective training and development initiatives.

Responsibilities
β€’ Oversee a comprehensive education and training program for facility staff.

β€’ Supervise training staff in developing and conducting education and training programs.
,
β€’ Monitor training initiatives for compliance with mandated accreditation requirements.
,
β€’ Coordinate critical and mandatory training for new and current employees.
,
β€’ Plan, organize, and direct training programs to improve performance of agency operations.
,
β€’ Meet with agency executive staff, program managers, and employees to identify and analyze training and development needs.
,
β€’ Oversee curriculum development and maintain relationships with training organizations and consultants.
,
β€’ Develop performance standards for programs and instructors and methods for evaluating results.
,
β€’ Provide advice and assistance to managers and supervisors to improve employee performance and productivity.
,
β€’ Monitor training compliance and evaluate reports.

Requirements
β€’ A bachelor's degree and four years of professional experience in the development, delivery, and management of staff development programs in a mental hygiene setting.
,
β€’ One year of supervisory experience in a setting providing services to individuals diagnosed with developmental disabilities, mental illness, or substance abuse.
,
β€’ A Juris Doctor, master's or higher degree in a related field can substitute for one year of specialized experience.
