About the Role
Global X, an NYC-based sponsor of Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs), is seeking a dynamic Digital Marketing Associate to drive the execution and coordination of marketing initiatives across digital and advertising channels, including our website, social media, and advertising platforms (broadcast, programmatic, display). This is an exciting opportunity for a digitally-savvy professional with a passion for and previous experience in financial markets to make a significant impact within a rapidly growing firm.
As a Digital Marketing Associate, you’ll take ownership of Global X’s marketing and campaign calendars, ensuring seamless execution and coordination across various digital touch points. You’ll play a pivotal role in supporting project workflow management, and directly contribute to the success of our campaigns. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders across marketing verticals (including product, design, and events) and compliance, navigating the unique regulatory landscape of the financial services industry. You will be hands-on with platforms like Google Ads, leveraging SEO/SEM strategies, and optimizing both paid and organic efforts across key social media channels (ie. LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Reddit).
The ideal candidate brings a combination of operational precision, digital marketing fluency, and collaborative energy, with a proactive mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment within financial services.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and maintain the marketing and campaign calendars, ensuring alignment across teams and verticals
• Lead and support project tracking and execution via tools like Asana, helping ensure timely delivery of campaigns and initiatives
• Assist in the planning, development, and performance tracking of advertising campaigns with a focus on financial product promotion
• Lead the execution of paid search, display, and video campaigns via Google Ads, including keyword research, ad copywriting, and performance optimization
• Collaborate on SEO/SEM strategy, helping improve on-site content structure and organic visibility
• Coordinate and publish social media content, working closely with brand, content, and compliance teams to ensure adherence to financial industry regulations
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform campaign and messaging strategy with a keen eye on financial market trends
• Support internal reporting, performance analysis, and compliance documentation as needed, demonstrating an understanding of financial compliance requirements
What We’re Looking For
• 2-4 years of experience in a marketing, digital marketing, or marketing operations role, preferably in financial services or fintech
• Hands-on experience with Google Ads Suite (Search, Display, YouTube), SEO/SEM tools/principles and marketing automation tools, applied to financial products or services
• Proficiency in project management platforms (e.g., Asana, Monday.com, Trello)
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
• Comfortable working cross-functionally, especially in regulated industries like financial services
• Experience managing social media platforms and tools (ie. Sprinklr, Sprout) is a plus
Required Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
• Demonstrated Interest in financial markets and global economic trends
• Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
• Highly detail-oriented with strong time management
• Analytical thinker with a solutions-oriented mindset
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment

The base salary range for this position is $70,000-$100,000. In addition, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and competitive benefits package. The total compensation package for this position may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
