Associate Attorney - Part-time (1099 – Flexible/Remote)
Yaft Law is a growing Colorado law firm focused on business law, construction, and real estate law, representing contractors, small businesses, property owners, and developers throughout the state. We are looking for a motivated part-time Associate Attorney to join our team on an as-needed 1099 basis, with full flexibility over hours and remote work. This role is ideal for an attorney seeking meaningful legal work with independence. What You’ll Do • Provide legal support on litigation and dispute matters • Assist with case strategy, legal research, motion practice, and discovery • Work on transactional matters (drafting and reviewing contracts, business documents, etc.) Preferred Qualifications • Licensed and in good standing in Colorado (required) • Litigation and courtroom experience strongly preferred • Experience in one or more of the firm’s practice areas: – Construction law – Real estate law (commercial or residential) – Business/corporate matters – Mechanic’s liens, contract disputes, or insurance-related issues • Strong writing skills, practical judgment, and the ability to work independently Compensation & Work Structure • $100/hour (1099 independent contractor) • Fully remote and flexible scheduling • Workload based on firm needs and attorney availability • No billable-hour requirements — excellent for those seeking balance and autonomy If you’re a capable and resourceful attorney who enjoys hands-on work and wants to help clients build and protect their businesses and properties, we’d love to hear from you.
