Associate Attorney
Edsall Law is a Camarillo-based firm focused on providing trusted legal services in estate planning, trust administration, and probate. They are seeking a California-licensed Attorney to provide maternity leave coverage for a full-time Associate Attorney, responsible for managing an established caseload and supporting clients through legal processes. Responsibilities Manage a caseload focused on estate planning, trust administration, and probate matters Draft, review, and revise legal documents including wills, trusts, and related filings Meet with clients to gather information, provide updates, and guide them through legal processes Communicate with courts, beneficiaries, and other stakeholders as needed Maintain organized case files and ensure timely handling of all matters Collaborate with internal staff to ensure high-quality client service and workflow efficiency Support post-death administration matters, including trust administration and probate proceedings Participate in onboarding and transition training with the current attorney prior to leave Skills Active California Bar license (required) Strong legal writing, communication, and client-facing skills Ability to manage multiple matters with strong attention to detail and deadlines Professionalism, reliability, and a strong work ethic Ability to quickly learn processes and step into an active caseload Experience in estate planning, probate, or trust administration preferred but not required Benefits Flexible schedule within a professional, client-focused environment Supportive transition and onboarding process Opportunity to gain hands-on experience in estate planning and probate Short-term engagement with meaningful, high-impact legal work Company Overview We are a seasoned staffing agency founded in 1997, providing talent across a wide and diversified platform; including but not limited to Engineering, Oil & Gas, Internet Technology, Internet Marketing, Manufacturing, Construction, Financial Services, Advertising and Healthcare Executives and Administrators.
