Associate Analyst

The Analyst supports the broader Analytics Team by transforming sales data into actionable insights that drive performance, profitability, and growth, while also assisting field sales leadership through clear reporting and dashboards. Responsibilities Analyze sales and financial performance to identify trends and opportunities for improvement Partner with field and sales reps to clarify KPIs, commissions, and profitability metrics Prepare and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance summaries for both internal and field audiences Support financial modeling, forecasting, and incentive structure analysis Gather, validate, and organize data from multiple sources to ensure reporting accuracy and consistency Maintain Tableau and Excel dashboards that track key business and field metrics Contribute to ad hoc analyses, special projects, and continuous improvement initiatives across Analytics and Finance Assist in preparing insights and materials for leadership and field presentations Contribute to additional projects or responsibilities as needed to support team and business objectives Skills 1-2 years of experience in relevant course work and internships with an emphasis in data analysis, sales analytics, revenue operations or a related field Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, modeling basics) Proficiency in Tableau Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and data accuracy Basic understanding of financial concepts such as revenue, margin, and commissions Clear communicator with the ability to translate data into actionable insights for diverse audiences Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field Benefits Vacation Sick leave Paid holidays Medical (with an HSA plan option) Dental Vision Company paid Basic Life insurance Opportunity to enroll in Voluntary Life plans Employee Assistance Program 401K with employer match Employee referral program Home office stipend Opportunities for team building, growth, and development Company Overview Smart Circle is a broker for outsourced sales, we act as a bridge between our clients and a network of independent sales companies.
