We're here for it. We think you should be too. We're looking for a driven professional with an inclusive mindset to join our team as an Assistant Site Merchant. As the Assistant Site Merchant, you will be responsible for defining & implementing digital merchandising strategies to drive conversion and category sales. You will be executing the full life cycle of products while consistently and thoroughly overseeing proofing of the site to ensure an excellent customer experience. Responsibilities • Build products in retailer proprietary systems, including sku set up and maintenance of sku content, including: product copy style guide, product images, videos and other assets • Move the product creation process forward by effectively partnering with merchant and creative teams (copywriters, photo studio, production, etc) • Strategically curate the selection, placement, and promotion of products on the e-commerce site, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and revenue goals • Develop and refine merchandising rules and algorithms with a high degree of autonomy, aiming to enhance customer experience and drive key performance indicators • Independently manage the product lifecycle on the website, including decisions on new product launches, seasonal transitions, and end-of-life product strategies • Evaluate competitor merchandising tactics and market shifts, then independently recommend and implement strategic adjustments to maintain a competitive edge • Support team with defining & implementing product playbook strategies within categories, by leveraging analytics & executing competitive research • Maintain product integrity, content accuracy as well as taxonomy and categorization • Partner effectively with merchant teams to improve accuracy and completeness of product data to positively impact product findability on site • Rapidly troubleshoot live site issues and resolve back end and customer facing issues related to site assets and item data Requirements • Bachelor's degree • 1-2 years of retail, eCommerce merchandising, or related experience • High attention to detail, process oriented, fast learner, self starter • Demonstrated ability to learn new technology and systems • Self-motivated, quick learner, and able to prioritize and multitask effectively • Ability to collaborate and work on a busy and dynamic team • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to define new strategies and processes and execute through to completion • Ability to learn online merchandising best practices and strategies • Comfort with online analytics (KPIs and systems/tools) • Customer-centric and strategic mindset • Demonstrated ability to navigate and seek solutions to problems Benefits • Minimum Starting Rate: $55,000.00 Hourly • Up to: $70.00 Hourly • Bonuses • Sales incentives • Long term incentives Apply tot his job
