Assistant Regional Director of Clinical Services (ARDCS)PACS North Bay Region β Skilled Nursing Facilities📍 Travel Required (Primarily Sacramento Area + Northern California)💰 $150,000 β $175,000 annually | Full-Time | Leadership RoleAbout the PositionPACS North Bay Region is seeking an experienced Assistant Regional Director of Clinical Services (ARDCS) to provide clinical leadership and support across our skilled nursing facilities.This role is ideal for a seasoned RN leader with strong experience in long-term care, regulatory compliance, infection prevention, MDS oversight, and survey readiness. The ARDCS plays a critical role in ensuring clinical excellence, quality outcomes, and regulatory compliance throughout the region.Travel is required, primarily within the Sacramento area, with additional travel throughout Northern California as needed.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and monitor clinical programs to meet professional nursing standards and regulatory requirementsSupport facilities in maintaining compliance with State and Federal Medicare/Medicaid regulationsProvide leadership in infection prevention and disease control, including outbreak management and immunization programsGuide DONs and Administrators through Plans of Correction (POC) and Allegations of Compliance (AOC) following surveysConduct regional training for Directors of Nursing, MDS teams, and interdisciplinary leadershipEvaluate staffing structures, nursing PPD, and clinical workflows to improve efficiency and outcomesOversee MDS coordinators, RAC audits, and 5-Star quality improvement initiativesLead monthly Regional DON and MDS meetings focused on compliance and performance metricsSupport risk management, policy development, and clinical documentation reviewServe as Interim Director of Nursing when necessaryQualificationsBachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Masterβs preferredActive California RN license in good standingStrong clinical leadership experience in skilled nursing or long-term careRegional or multi-site oversight experience preferredExperience with CMS/OIG surveys, risk management, and infection prevention strongly preferredMDS certification highly desirableProficiency in PointClickCare (PCC) preferredExcellent communication, analytical, and leadership skillsComfortable with frequent regional travelWhy Join PACS North Bay Region?Competitive salary: $150,000 β $175,000Regional leadership impact across multiple skilled nursing facilitiesCollaborative, mission-driven team cultureOpportunity to elevate clinical standards and improve resident outcomesComprehensive benefits packageIf you are a strong nurse leader who thrives on mentoring, improving systems, and driving survey readiness and quality outcomes β weβd love to connect with you.Apply today and help lead clinical excellence across the PACS North Bay Region.
