Assistant Project Manager (E-commerce) – Proactive Self-Starter Needed

I am looking for a resourceful Assistant Project Manager to act as my right hand in managing e-commerce projects. This isn't a "wait for instructions" type of role. I need someone who can, see what needs to be fixed, and execute without being micromanaged. You will receive initial onboarding and training on how I operate, but once you’re up to speed, I expect you to take the lead on your tasks and proactively suggest improvements. What You’ll Be Doing Ticket Management: Reviewing client tickets and performing Quality Assurance from a PM perspective. Internal Communication: Rewriting client requests into clear, concise, and actionable technical tasks for our internal team. Meeting Prep: Assisting with the preparation for weekly meetings and ensuring all stakeholders are ready. Tracking & Execution: Monitoring weekly tasks to ensure everything is on track and nothing falls through the cracks. Problem Solving: Identifying bottlenecks in our process and suggesting fixes before they become issues. What I’m Looking For E-commerce Experience: You understand the world of online retail. If you know Shopify, that’s a huge plus. If not, you should have solid experience with other e-commerce platforms. Exceptional English: Your written and verbal English must be top-tier. You need to be able to take complex client feedback and translate it into simple, professional instructions. The "Self-Starter" DNA: You don't wait for a nudge. If you see a gap, you fill it. You prefer to bring solutions to me rather than just asking "what should I do next?" Resourcefulness: When you hit a wall, your first instinct is to find a way around it or research a solution. Hours & Flexibility Sporadic Start: To begin with, this role will be variable. Some weeks will be busy; others will be quieter. No Guaranteed Hours (Initially): We will "play it by ear" based on the current workload. Growth Potential: My goal is to delegate more and more to you.
