Assistant Pastor
Hope Church is looking to hire a full-time Assistant Pastor to join our pastoral team!
We’re a contemporary, non-denominational, Bible-believing church (of about 250 people currently) located in beautiful East Hampton, CT. We’re looking for someone who loves the local church and is willing to jump into all aspects of pastoral ministry—the
exciting moments and the behind-the-scenes work alike.
This role includes teaching 10–15 times a year, so the ability to teach Scripture creatively and passionately is essential. We’re looking for someone who can lead people and teams well, connect relationally with a wide range of people, and help move ministry
forward.
Strong organizational and administrative skills matter too. You’ll help plan, organize, and execute events and gatherings with excellence. We’re open to shaping this role around the candidate’s unique gifts and strengths. Extra consideration will be given
to those with experience in any of the following: worship leading, production/tech, kids ministry, youth ministry, or young adult ministry. Extra consideration will also be given to those who already live in the New England area.
Most of all, we’re looking for a humble, teachable leader who is committed to Jesus and reflects His love and grace to others. Candidates should embrace our core values, work well with our team of elders, and understand New England church culture.
