The Assistant, Integrated Investment role involves supporting media planning and buying, managing campaign execution, and assisting with billing reconciliation and reporting.ResponsibilitiesAssist in the creation and presentation of media specific documents such as media plans, objectives and strategy decks, and other related functionsHelp with the creation of contracts within internal systems/tools to reserve advertising spaceResponsible for accuracy of plan details and confirmation of delivery ensuring proper protocolGather rates for planning costsAnalyze daypart mixes and pricing within plansCollaborate with team for overall plan developmentMake sure all documents are organized and saved in internal foldersAssist in management of day-to-day communication with internal and external teamsFacilitate day-to-day account maintenance tasks inclusive of schedule changes, programming details, schedule imports, ADU acceptance, and trafficking requestsSchedule inputs in SBMS and make sure all weekly weights and unit mix aligns with the goalProactively oversee that all deals are fully delivering by tracking on a weekly basisCollaborate with Ad Ops team for ad trafficking and site tagging, ensuring tags are properly QA’dCompile spec documents and ensure all materials are received from creative agencyResponsible for the creation of campaign post-launch information such as screenshots, links and delivery data to demonstrate proof of placement for clientsSupport team members with overall buy activationTrack delivery for all campaignsCheck that invoices are input correctly by the billing departmentResolve billing discrepanciesWork alongside Associate on post campaign reconciliation and billingActualize buys on a monthly basisCollaborate with Horizon Media Analytics teams to aggregate data and ensure accuracy, validating data from internal and external teamsMonitor campaign pacing to ensure purchases match plans/client goalsTrack buy information and post reportingAnalyze MSAs and delivery reports from partners on a quarterly basis to deliver the post report to the brand team once the quarter endsAdvance knowledge and learn about the media industry, Horizon Media, and our clientsFurther abilities with Microsoft Office Suite and other proprietary Horizon toolsParticipate in Horizon’s Media 101 training program and other syndicated and proprietary training sessions (i.e. Excel Basics, Business Writing, Presentation Skills, and more)Learn about the various departments at HMI and how each work togetherAttend and participate in vendor and internal meetings, where applicableDevelop and maintain knowledge and understanding of industry trends and new technologies that affect the buying disciplineSkillsHungry to learn more and further your knowledge of the media landscapeInterested in the linear and digital landscapeA strong, effective communicatorA problem solver with the ability to develop creative solutionsDetail oriented with strong organizational skillsAn effective time manager, comfortable working with multiple timelines and deliverablesFlexible in working both independently and with a teamTakes pride in ownership of work and demonstrates accountabilityAble to thrive in an agile, fast paced environment and seek out feedback proactivelyResults and solutions oriented; consistently motivated, proactive, and resourcefulA supporter of and advocate for diversity, equity and inclusionBachelor's degree and/or relevant work or internship experienceProficiency working within Microsoft Excel and PowerPointExperience working in the advertising industry preferredProficient in mathConfidence within Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPointOrganization, time management, communication, and written skillsBenefitsHealth insurance coverageLife and disability insuranceRetirement savings plansCompany paid holidaysUnlimited paid time off (PTO)Mental health and wellness resourcesPet insuranceChildcare resourcesIdentity theft insuranceFertility assistance programsFitness reimbursementCompany OverviewHorizon Next is one of the industry's most innovative and data-driven marketing organizations and sits at the intersection of three constantly changing landscapes: people, data, and media.
