This is a remote position but ideally, the Practice Manager will be located in the St. Louis, Kansas City, or Denver area. As an Assistant Practice Manager you will assist in the management of financial and strategic management needs (as described in the contracted and agreed upon scope of services) while achieving a high level of Group satisfaction.What you’ll do:Manage financial and accounting business matters in accordance with established procedures and standardsDevelop and train bookkeeping and accounting support personnel to deliver quality service in accordance with established controls and standardsIndependently manage financial services toward the company objective of quality service and high satisfaction; recommend actions to this endIndependently provide strategic management advice and service, including special complex requirements of large group practices, by gaining a strong working knowledge of the Group’s business and industryAttend and conduct regular face-to-face meetingsCollaborate with Billing Manager to deliver service in a team approach with continuous communication and coordinationOccasional Travel as neededPerform all other duties as assignedWhat you’ll bring to Zotec:Bachelor’s degree requiredLicensed Certified Public Accountant preferredMinimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in public accounting or healthcare financial managementSolid understanding of financial accounting, taxation, and physician practice managementImportant skills include time management and the ability to organize and prioritize workMust be detail oriented with high degree of accuracy; excellent organizational skills requiredStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong oral and written communication skills including ability to listen and effectively communicate via telephoneProficient in Microsoft Suite of products including Excel, Outlook PowerPoint and WordAbility to prepare monthly reports, make formal presentations and independently conduct monthly client business meetingsFlexible mentality: willing and capable of performing varied tasksAble to work in a team environment
