About Us: We’re building one of the biggest automotive creator brands on YouTube and beyond — from burnout shows and insane builds to road trips and wild stunts. Our long-form videos rack up millions of views, and now we’re looking to bring on a Remote Assistant Editor / Shorts Editor to keep pace with our content machine. Role Overview You’ll help the Champlin crew by: • Rough cutting long-form edits so senior editors can finish faster. • Pulling highlights from episodes to turn into short-form clips (TikToks, Reels, Shorts). • Keeping projects organized, syncing footage, and building clean timelines. • Making short-form edits that are fast-paced, funny, and true to the Champlin style. Responsibilities • Rough cut full-length edits for YouTube. • Create short-form content (TikTok/IG Reels/YouTube Shorts). • Add captions, memes, and attention-grabbing hooks. • Maintain consistency with brand style and pacing. • Work remote with weekly check-ins. ✅ Requirements • Strong editing skills in Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects / Photoshop a plus). • Experience with both long-form and short-form editing. • Solid sense of pacing, comedic timing, and storytelling. • Organized, detail-oriented, and deadline reliable. • At least 1–2 years editing experience (social/video/YouTube).
